Week 11

This week, my tasks involve making journals and ledgers, scanning, editing files, and conducting inventory. Specifically, I am working on the journal and ledger for the 2024 working papers of our clients. I am also continuing to scan annual ITR files for clients to compile them into a book, which will be submitted through the EAFS website. Additionally, I am editing files for corporations, which includes updating client names and addresses.

I have also created folders for the 2025 books of each client, with each folder containing sections for cash disbursements, inventory, purchases, sales, and journals. These folders will be used to store all client files for 2025.

Lastly, I am conducting inventory for January and February. First, I need to verify if the client's flash drive contains VAT computation and subsidiary sales journal files for the specified months. Once confirmed, I will copy and paste the information from these files into the 2025 working papers. If the working papers are balanced, I will proceed to balance the client's inventory. To do this, I will copy and paste the 2024 inventory file into the client's 2025 folder and then update the beginning inventory, purchases, cost of goods sold, and ending inventory amounts from the working papers into the Excel sheet.
