Week 9

 

For Week 9, I focused on completing books for 2024. This task involved compiling monthly purchases and cash disbursements for a client from their exported SPJ file. Additionally, I performed journalizing and ledger tasks for several clients for the year 2024. This required copying data from their working papers into the journalizing and ledger format. Lastly, I registered books for one client, using the UROS website to register the subsidiary sales journal book.

(January 16-23, 2025):  I began my internship at The Lewis College, where i was assigned to the accounting office under the supervision of Ms. Xyzbel Lagto, the BED Registrar. Week 4

  Since Sir Jannver was still on leave, I took the initiative to finish the tasks he assigned to me before he left. I spent three days completing all the tasks, including registering the book of accounts. For the remaining days of the week, I worked on the Validation Report for e-Submission and the Summary of Alphalist 1601EQ. I'm happy to have had the opportunity to try different tasks beyond my usual tasks, such as using UROS.

Week 2: First week at RBL Accounting and Auditing Services

(January 27-31, 2025): As i stepped into my second week as an intern at RBL Accounting and Auditing Services, i couldn't help but feel excited mixed with a little bit of nervousness. Our team had chosen this company for our 550-hour internship. To prepare for the day, I woke up early, got ready, and packed my snacks and lunch. As i arrived at the office, I was warmly welcomed by Miss Ella, one of the employees. She took the time to chat with us, making us feel at ease and helping to calm our nerves. As the day went on, the rest of the employees arrived, and we were assigned our tasks. My responsibility was to get familiar with the ORUS website, which is used to register books of accounts required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
